Data-driven and Knowledge-Based Modeling for Blast Furnace Processes

The main objectives of this project are grounded on the following intentions to be pursued within this project:

• Yielding a better understanding of the interdependencies in the blast furnace process at voestalpine Stahl including individual production steps.
• Providing accurate timely predictions of measurement data and derived values for relevant system parameters over a production cycle or across several production cycles. 
• Assuring robustness of predictions over time also in case of dynamically changing system behavior.
