Bilateral FWF/DFG Project 'Interpretable and Reliable Evolving Fuzzy Systems (IREFS)' started

This bilateral research project between our department and the
Knowledge Engineering & Bioinformatics Department at the Phillips University Marburg
aims at developing concepts and methods for a better interpretability and understandability, enhanced reliability and more userfriendliness of evolving fuzzy systems.
Evolving fuzzy systems are a special kind of data-driven modelling methodology, developed for the purpose of extracting fuzzy rule bases from data streams in an incremental and single-pass manner.
